The other day I purchased a can of cod liver from a Scandinavian grocery store near my house. Today I tried it, and it was delicious. Imagine a super-rich and delicate canned tuna. I made it into a sandwich with a little bit of cumin and some avocado and a little bit of mustard from the same Scandinavian store. I put the avocado in it to tone down the richness of the cod liver, just like when they use dynamite to put out an oil fire. Eating that sandwich felt really good.

As an aside, canned octopus is also quite delicious.
